Lab Results Delivery That Works
PhoneTree Lab provides a streamlined communication solution to handling patient lab result information,
giving convenience to practices and peace of mind to patients. Instead of notifying patients only of abnormal
results or fielding calls from patients asking about their tests, you can make patient results available
through securely-accessed voice messages retrieved by touch-tone using PhoneTree Lab.
How Does PhoneTree Lab Work?
Each patient is given a confidential personal identification number (provider-defined) on an instruction
card. You then assign lab result messages locally to voicemail boxes by recording or selecting messages
from a library. Optionally, PhoneTree Lab can use a file from your electronic records to automatically
match patient codes to messages — filling hundreds of mailboxes in seconds.

Patients call in, enter their PINs and hear either results or a message that results aren’t yet available. All calls are logged, and each message’s history is tracked, indicating if and when it was retrieved. Afterward, at a time of your choosing, messages and mailboxes are automatically deleted.
Flexible Configuration
PhoneTree Lab can be configured to support everything from a single-doctor practice to large multi-practice/multi-specialty organizations. Data can be viewed on-screen, printed or emailed in reports, complete with time/day stamps and message status information for patient charts.

PhoneTree Lab is a perfect complement to PhoneTree outbound messaging – this combination provides the best automated communication for your patients. Patients with new lab results can easily be contacted with reminders that their lab result messages are available for retrieval.
