The PhoneTree® Administrator
The PhoneTree® 2500 contains an additional tool for managing all your PhoneTrees:
the PhoneTree® Administrator. You can use this screen to a) change the names of
your PhoneTrees, b) add or remove password protection for your PhoneTrees, c)
make the lists of your PhoneTrees secure and d) change the number of possible
PhoneTrees (up to 256).
- Change the name of one or more of your PhoneTrees by clicking on them in
the PhoneTree® name column to highlight them and typing a new name.
- If you want to make a PhoneTree® password-required, type a password in that
PhoneTree® 's Password column. Be sure to use something easy to remember but
different from the Admin Password and/or passwords of other accounts, since
the PhoneTree® passwords are viewable by anyone who can access this screen.
- Checking the Locked box means that the calling lists for a PhoneTree® will
not be available to users of other PhoneTrees. This feature can come in handy
if you have confidential calling lists.
- Change the number of available PhoneTrees up to a 256 maximum by clicking
directly on the current number (default with the PhoneTree® 2500 and the PhoneTree® 3500 is 8) and selecting a new number. You will be prompted to restart the
PhoneTree® application.
