Call Options: Advanced

In general, we recommend you not change these options unless directed to do so by PhoneTree® Customer Service. However, as the Administrator, you may want to adjust these settings from time to time.
  1. Don't call duplicates with same: PhoneTree® will not call duplicates if you check one of the first two options here (the default is Phone #). Selecting Call all duplicates will call everyone on the list, including duplicates. This is not the same as the Remove Duplicates tool in the Search menu, which permanently removes duplicates from your list.
Keep Don't call numbers in blocked number list ON (default) unless for some reason you would not like PhoneTree® to remove the people on the Blocked Number list.
  2. Daily calling: If you would like this PhoneTree® to call this list each day (during the call window(s) you set on the Call Times tab), check this option. You can also print your call status report (with a warning for those who did not respond) automatically (choose from Never, No Answer/Not Confirmed or After Max Tries). Default: OFF
  3. Special dialing rules (advanced): These dialing settings are provided if you would like to add other suffixes or prefixes that will be dialed in addition to any others typed on the Configure Phone Lines dialog (which are system-wide and set on the Admin tab). You probably won't need to use these.
  4. If this PhoneTree® will be calling any pager numbers, type the callback number here in the Pager box, and be sure to put a "C" in your list after any pager phone number (i.e. 722-5992C). Doing this will ensure that PhoneTree® will leave your callback number on the numeric pagers it calls.
  5. Export data: If you would like to save a call status file that another application (like your member management program or Microsoft Excel) can use later, check this option. Default: OFF
  6. Call Logging: If you would like the calls made here to be included in the system-wide call log, choose either Log Completed Calls or Log All Calls from the drop-down menu. Read more about call logging here. Default: ON (Log ALL Calls)
  7. Deliver message to answering machines: Here you can choose when your PhoneTree® will deliver the message to the answering machines it reaches. Choose from Always, Never, After # of tries (you then set the number) or Within time window (you then set the time). Default: Always
