How do I know what a task icon will do before I click on it?
 


As detailed in the task icon section of this help file, task icons are created from within a specific PhoneTree® , and sometimes it's hard to remember exactly what that task was designed to do.



From the task desktop, if you right-click on one of the task icons, it will bring up a small box with two choices: Edit this Icon and Properties. Choosing Properties provides you with a small summary screen, with information about this particular task.



By checking the Script, PhoneTree® , View and other properties here, you should be able to determine what the task icon will do when activated. Click OK when done.
